Pablo Ignacio González Reyes (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈpaβlo gonˈzaleθ ˈreyes], born 19 November 1986) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays for Chilean Primera División club Deportes Iquique as right midfielder. He can also operates as central midfielder.
Club career
Universidad de Concepción
He began his career in the youth ranks of Universidad Católica, where he was part of each step of the lower divisions.
In the 2007 Apertura tournament, he was promoted to the First Team by manager José del Solar, in which he plays a couple of matches.
In the 2007 Clausura tournament he was loaned to Universidad de Concepción, where he had excellent displays and played a vital role in the team that reached the final of the Clausura. After his excellent performances at "El Campanil" he was called up to the national team by coach Marcelo Bielsa, to play against Japan and South Korea. Unfortunately, he had to be removed from the squad because of injury.
Universidad Católica
In 2008 he returned to UC.
