It is home to a 12th-century church, dedicated to St. John the Baptist, and to several nuraghe sites, including those of Santu Sciori (c. 1300 BC) and Nuraxi Fenu, one of the largest in Sardinia, from the mid-Bronze Age (1600-1300 BC).
