PSI is an album by the industrial rock band Pitchshifter, released in 2002 (see 2002 in music). Their previous two albums had been released on a major label, but this was released by the minor Mayan Records, a subsidiary label owned by Sanctuary Records. "Eight Days" and "Shutdown" were released as singles.
"Shutdown" music video
In the music video, Pitchshifter are performing in a disused power station which is located in the United Kingdom. In the middle of the video, the band suddenly freeze for six seconds then, J.S. Clayden is climbing up the rope (probably because he is trying to shut down a machine) and suddenly, he nearly lets go of the rope. The video ends with Clayden smashing up a guitar.
The video for the song was shot on location in a disused power station in the UK with the same company that directed the Genius music video.
