PEI is a financial media group focusing on global alternative assets, private equity, private real estate, infrastructure, and real assets, based in London, New York, and Hong Kong.

History

The company was founded in London in November 2001 by a team of managers from the financial media group Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC. It was originally funded by a number of US-based investors. It is an independent media company.

PEI offers several news services & magazines to cover the alternative asset class verticals:

PEI 300 List

PEI compiles a list of the 300 largest private equity firms in the world, known as the PEI 300.[1][2][3]

PEI's other divisions provide data products, specialist books and host industry conferences, such as the Private Equity International CFO & COO Forum, in New York.
