Přeštěnice is a village and municipality (obec) in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 9.78 square kilometres (3.78 sq mi), and has a population of 297 (as at 2005).
Přeštěnice lies approximately 29 kilometres (18 mi) north-east of Písek, 57 km (35 mi) north of České Budějovice, and 68 km (42 mi) south of Prague.
