Płytnica [pwɨtˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tarnówka, within Złotów County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Tarnówka, 18 km (11 mi) west of Złotów, and 101 km (63 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany. For more on its history, see Złotów County.
