Płowce [ˈpwɔft͡sɛ] (German: Plowczen; 1938-1945: Plötzendorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stare Juchy, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Stare Juchy, 18 km (11 mi) north-west of Ełk, and 109 km (68 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
