Póvoa de Lanhoso (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈpɔvuɐ ðɨ lɐˈɲozu], locally: [ˈpɔβuɐ ðɨ lɐˈɲozu]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 132.5 km² and a total population of 23,657 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 29 parishes, and is located in the district of Braga.
The present Mayor is Manuel Soares Baptista, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is March 19.
