Ownice [ɔvˈnit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Słońsk, within Sulęcin County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Słońsk, 19 km (12 mi) north-west of Sulęcin, and 34 km (21 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
