The Kyrgyz Republic, commonly known as Kyrgyzstan, is a sovereign country located in Central Asia.[1] Landlocked and mountainous, Kyrgyzstan is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the southwest, and China to the east.
