Outburn is an American bimonthly, print and digital publication focusing on Alternative rock, heavy metal, and punk rock music.[1] The articles consist of include news, interviews and reviews.[1]

History

In 1997, Outburn was first published, and five issues per year since that time have come out.[1] The current executive editor and co-publisher is Octavia Laird with the other co-publisher and editor being Rodney Kusano.[1]

The magazine had it reviews used by Metacritic for issue No. 23.[2]
