Ostrowiec [ɔsˈtrɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dobiegniew, within Strzelce-Drezdenko County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Dobiegniew, 16 km (10 mi) east of Strzelce Krajeńskie, and 41 km (25 mi) north-east of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 130.
