Ostren (Macedonian: Острени, Ostreni) is a municipality in the Bulqizë District, Dibër County, eastern Albania.[1]
Demographics
Ostren is inhabited by a Macedonian Muslim majority, and an Orthodox Macedonian minority, both of whom are officially unrecognised by the Albanian government.[citation needed]
Education
Macedonian language courses operate in Ostren to cater for the Macedonian speaking majority population which lives in the village.[2]
