Osiek [ˈɔɕek] is a village in Oświęcim County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Osiek.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south of Oświęcim and 50 km (31 mi) west of the regional capital Kraków.
The village has a population of 6,300.
