Orhei was a county (Romanian: judeţ) in the Kingdom of Romania between 1925 and 1938 and a county of Moldova from 1998 to 2003, with the seat at Orhei.

Its population in 2003 was 300,400.

The county neighboured the Soviet Union to the east, the counties of Soroca to the north-west, Bălți to the west and Lăpuşna to the south.

After the 1938 Administrative and Constitutional Reform, this county merged with the counties of Lăpuşna, Cetatea Albă and Tighina to form Ţinutul Nistru.
