Ora TV is an on-demand digital television network founded in 2012 by television host Larry King and Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim. Ora TV both produces and distributes television shows including Larry King Now, Politicking with Larry King, Recessionista and Jesse Ventura Off The Grid.[1] Ora also has production offices and studios in New York City and Los Angeles.

History

Ora TV was founded by Larry King and Carlos Slim in 2012 as an outlet to produce a new show for Larry King after leaving CNN.[2] Larry King Now was launched as Ora's first show in the summer of 2012 and aired both on Ora TV and Hulu. Since the spring of 2013, it is also shown on RT around the world. Since its founding Ora has begun to produce a number of television shows starring well-known personalities. Ora TV also produces short-form shows that air exclusively on YouTube. In 2013 Ora acquired Stick Figure Productions, a documentary and unscripted production company.[3]
