Oplismenus aemulus (commonly known as Australian Basket Grass, Basket Grass, Wavy Beard Grass) is a species of perennial plant from Poaceae family that can be found in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. It is 0.3 metres (1 ft 0 in)[1] high and have leaves which are 3 millimetres (0.12 in) long and 4–18 millimetres (0.16–0.71 in) wide. It also has some hairs which have 10-15 nerves on either side. The plant is whitish on the lower surface and is very narrow near midrib.[2]
