Operation Driftwood

During World War II, Operation Driftwood was a successful raid by two teams of Special AA Service commandos launched in early 1944.
Tasked to attack rail targets north of Rome, the fate of the eight troopers is unclear. Operation Driftwood was part of Operation Maple.
