Personal life

His name, Onyekachi, means "Who is greater than (his/her) godly guarding?".[1] On 31 December 2007, Onyekachi was robbed and kidnapped in Enugu.[2] He transferred to French club side Stade Rennes in summer 2010. He suffered from a long spell out of the side through injury, but finally made his debut for Rennes in January 2012, almost a year and a half after signing.
