Ontronik "Andy" Khachaturian (Armenian: Անդրանիկ (Անդի) Խաչատրյան; born January 25, 1975) is a musician, producer and DJ. He is known for being the original co-founder/drummer (1994 - 1997) of the Grammy Award-winning rock band System of a Down and founder/lead singer (1999 - 2002) of the alt-progressive rock band The Apex Theory. Ontronik has worked with producers Don Gilmore, Alan Moulder, and Rich Costey at world-renowned studios such as NRG Recording Studios and Quad Recording Studios.[citation needed] He is currently working on producing for his project OnTronik™ as well as DJ-ing.

History

Ontronik co-founded and composed drum parts for System of a Down from 1995-1997.[1]

He also established and was the lead singer/songwriter for The Apex Theory 1999-2002.[2]
