Ondu Muttina Kathe (Kannada: ಒಂದು ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಕಥೆ) which literally means 'Story of a Pearl' is a 1987 Indian Kannada film movie which is directed by actor/director Shankar Nag, starring the Rajkumar in the lead role. It is loosely based on John Steinbeck's book The Pearl. The film was a box office flop[citation needed]. It is said to be the first Indian movie to be shot underwater[citation needed]. This film is also notable for the underwater fighting scene between Rajkumar and an octopus.
