Om River in Kuybyshev

Om (Russian: Омь) is a river in the south of Western Siberian plains in Russia. It is ~724 km long, flowing into the major Irtysh River. It rises in the Vasyugan Swamp at the border of Novosibirsk and Omsk oblasts. The name is probably from the word om 'quiet' in the language of the Baraba Tatars.[1]

The city of Omsk is situated at the confluence of Om and Irtysh.
