The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Micro Four Thirds is Olympus' compact mirrorless interchangeable lens camera introduced on September 10, 2013 featuring a built-in on sensor phase detection.
Features include
- Sensor: 16MP Live MOS sensor, no Anti-aliasing filter
- 40 RAW images at 10 frames per second with focus locked or 45 RAW images at 6 frame per second with continuous autofocus. [1]
- Image stabilization: Olympus 5-axis image stabilization
- True Pix VII processor with lens correction
- ISO range: 200 - 25600, with "LOW ISO 100"
- Manual focus with focus peaking
- Focus points: 81-area multiple AF (Contrast detection AF) / 37-area multiple AF (Phase detection AF)
- In-camera HDR
- Flash: no built-in flash, small external flash included
- Flash sync: 1/320 sec.
- Built-in wifi: 802.11 b/g/n for remote shooting (smartphone, tablet)
- Weather sealing: dust, splash, freeze resistance (-10˚C)

Olympus OM-D E-M10
The Olympus OM-D E-M10 is consumer's price concern camera with more compact body, has no weather sealed as Olympus OM-D E-P5, only 3-axis image stabilization (not 5) and not all metal body as the predecessors, but has 16MP with no anti aliasing filter, TruePic VII processor, 81 points AF, maximum 25,600 ISO and built-in WiFi all as E-M1, 1.44MP viewfinder as E-M5, 8fps or 3.5 fps with continuous AF, no accessories port, but has hotshoe and built-in flash. The MSRP is $700 body only or $800 with 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens. The body only price is $300 cheaper than Olympus OM-D E-M5 body only price.[2][3]
