Olympiacos Women's Water Polo Club is the women's Water polo department of the major Greek multi-sport club Olympiacos. The department was founded in 1988 and they play their games at the 1000-seated Papastrateio Hall in Piraeus.
Olympiacos is one of the most successful Greek teams, having won 4 Greek Championships. The club has a commanding presence in the European competitions, having participated in 3 Champions' Cup Final Fours (1996, 2010, 2011),[1] in the final of LEN Trophy in 2008 (losing 9–10 to Roma),[2] as well as in 2 other LEN Trophy Final Fours (2001, 2007). The club has also reached the semi-finals of LEN Trophy twice (since the establishment of the new format) in 2009 and 2012.[3][4]
