Oliver Janich is a German journalist and author as well as a politician, founder and former president of the Partei der Vernunft (Party of Reason).[1]

Biography

Janich completed the apprenticeship as a bank clerk and studied business economics. He was employed at the business mags Euro am Sonntag and Focus Money, and afterwards he wrote as a freelance journalist for the Financial Times Deutschland, Euro, the Süddeutsche Zeitung and at last for Kopp Online. He lives in Munich. In 2013 he left the Party of Reason.
