Oleg Pungin

Oleg Pungin, (born November 16, 1968 in Vladivostok, Russia) is the drummer of the band Mumiy Troll.[1]

From 1st to 10th grade he was a member of the children’s ensemble, Schastlivoye Detstvo (Happy Childhood). At the end of the 1980s — after finishing school — he worked in a Pacific Fleet song and dance ensemble. By the end of the 1990s, he was working in radio writing captions and advertising spots, and recording various performers. He founded one of Vladivostok’s recording studios, where he worked as an arranger and sound engineer recording other artists from Vladivostok. In the summer of 1997, he received an offer to perform several concerts with Mumiy Troll in the Far East, after which he became a permanent member of the band.
