Olav Hodne

Olav Hodne (June 16, 1921 - October 29, 2009) was a Norwegian humanitarian and missionary. In 1972, he became the founder and director of RDRS Bangladesh, an organization to created in order to give aid to the rural poor in northern Bangladesh.

He was awarded the Wittenberg Award in 2005 by the Luther Institute for his outstanding service to church and society. He was the grandfather of Joshua French.[1]
