Okowizna [ɔkɔˈvizna] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Pozezdrze, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Pozezdrze, 8 km (5 mi) south of Węgorzewo, and 94 km (58 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
