Established in 1891, OhioHealth is a not-for-profit, faith-based system of hospitals and healthcare providers located in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas. As of 2012, the organization has 21,000 physicians, associates and volunteers and more than $2 billion in net revenue. The system consists of 17 hospitals, 20 health and surgery centers, home-health providers, medical equipment and health service suppliers throughout a 40-county area. Member hospitals include Riverside Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Doctors Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Hardin Memorial Hospital, Marion General Hospital, Doctors Hospital at Nelsonville & O'Bleness Memorial Hospital (Jan. 2014) in Athens, OH.[1] OhioHealth is a ministry of the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.[2]
