Ogonowice [ɔɡɔnɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Opoczno, within Opoczno County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-east of Opoczno and 76 km (47 mi) south-east of the regional capital Łódź. It has a Polish name of województwo łódzkie [vɔjɛˈvut͡stfɔ ˈwut͡skʲɛ] or simply Łódzkie.
