Ogie Díaz (born Roger Díaz-Pandaan; 2 January 1970, Quezon City) is a Filipino comedian, actor and show business reporter. He is also popularly known as "Pekto", the name of his character in the long-running former television show Palibhasa Lalake.
Biography
Born on 2 January 1970, Díaz has four children with partner Mirasol del Rosario. Díaz began his career as an assistant to Cristy Fermin at Mariposa Publications, eventually becoming an entertainment writer and an actor. Díaz was also previously the manager of comedian Vice Ganda for four years.
Politics
Díaz ran for election to the Quezon City council in 2010 but lost.[1]
