The Octopus sasakii is found only in salt water and is able to change its color. He moves forward by water in his cloak and pumps it through the siphon vigorously squeezing. The octopus is a carnivore and its diet consists mainly of fish, crabs, lobsters and molluscs catching them with the suction cups on their tentacles. It is parasitized by Dicyema shimantoense which infects its renal appendages.
