Ochridaspongia rotunda is endemic sponge which lives in Lake Ohrid. This kind of sponge is found mostly at depth of 30-50 m and temperature of water of 6-8 degrees Celsius. Its circular shape indicates that the animal lives under conditions of relatively calm water.
