OCI or OCI Company Ltd is a global leading green energy and chemical company founded in 1959 in South Korea. It manufactures the chemical products in renewable energy sector - polysilicon for the raw materials for solar cells, fumed silica vacuum inlation panel (ENERVAC), sapphire ingots for LEDs and photovoltaic generation business, and also other chemical products in petro & coal chemical sector and inorganic chemical sector. Its inorganic chemicals products consist of hydrogen peroxide, soda ash, sodium carbonate, peroxyhydrate, fumed silica, and others. Its coal and petrochemicals products include carbon black, toluene, xylene, and benzene, among others. Its fine chemicals include chemical reagents for laboratory experiments and cleansing equipment, carbofuran for plant hopper, and sodium cyanate.

OCI achieved about 3,000 billion USD in sales as of 2011 and was awarded Best Performing Chemical Company in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index(DJSI) Asia Pacific Region for 2 years in addition to acquiring 'The Green Company Certification' for the first time in Korea. Over 4,800 employees are working at OCI worldwide as of 2011. Headquartered in Seoul, OCI operates in over 20 overseas subsidiaries and regional branches in 6 countries in Asia, the USA and the Europe.
