Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya (NMV) (Devanagari: नूतन मराठी विद्यालय) is a school in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The school was founded on 1 January 1883.[1] Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya consists of a high school and a junior college.[2] It is run by the Shikshan Prasarak Mandali.[3]

  • Sonopant (Shankar Vaman) Dandekar (1896–1969), philosopher and educationalist.
  • Prahlad Narhar Joshi (1924-), writer and former headteacher of the school.[4]
  • Shripad Mahadev Mate (1886–1957), writer and former teacher.[5]

  • Purushottam Ramchandra Vaze, Teacher in whose name "Purushottam Karandak" competition is held since 1962.
