Nuno Alvites
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nuno Alvites, sometimes Nuno I (early 11th century) was a Count of Portugal, apparently a descendant of the first count, Vímara Peres. He succeeded his father Alvito Nunes in the county, and ruled with his spouse Ilduara Mendes, daughter of earlier count Menendo González. Following his death, she continued to rule as regent.
