Nuala McGovern is a journalist and radio broadcaster working for BBC News. McGovern is one of the main presenters of Newsday on the BBC World Service.
Pre-BBC Career
Before joining the BBC McGovern was a producer on The Brian Lehrer Show, for WNYC Radio, where she was part of the team which won the Peabody Award. During this time she was also the founding producer of a spin off show. [1]
BBC Career
McGovern joined the BBC in 2009 as a presenter and producer of World: Have Your Say on the BBC World Service. [2] In 2012 she became one of the founding presenters of Newsday, the World Service's new breakfast programme. [3]
