Nouman Ali Khan (Arabic: نعمان علي خان) is the founder and CEO of Bayyinah and serves as a lead instructor for several programs including Dream, traveling seminars and Bayyinah TV. His Arabic training began in the U.S. in 1999 under Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and former principal of Quran College in Faisalabad, Pakistan.[1][2] The fifth edition of The 500 Most Influential Muslims listed him as one of the most influential young western Muslim scholars.[3]

Nouman served as a professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College until 2006 when he decided to take Bayyinah on as a full-time project. Since then he has taught more than 10,000 students through traveling seminars and programs. His Qur'an teacher from childhood, Major Mani Adil of Lahore, Pakistan is the main assistance instructor at Bayyinah Institute.[4] He currently resides in Dallas, Texas, and is focusing on teaching his students, developing Arabic curricula and filming material for Bayyinah TV.[citation needed]Nouman teaches about the religion of Islam through his video speeches. He frequently speaks at Islamic Circle of North America Conventions about Islam, family, and other life topics.[citation needed] He also lectures internationally on the matters of Tafsir and learning Arabic to understand the Quran.
