Northbrook Station is a commuter railroad station on Metra's Milwaukee District/North Line in Northbrook, Illinois. The station is located at 1401 Shermer Road, is 22 miles (35 km) away from Union Station, the southern terminus of the line,[1] and serves commuters between Union Station and Fox Lake, Illinois. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Northbrook is in zone E.


Northbrook Station was originally built in 1967 by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. Parking is available both on Shermer Road and Lorenz Drive, as well as between Shermer Road and the Northbrook Village Hall.
