North Dalton is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) south-west of the town of Driffield and 8 miles (13 km) north-east of the town of Pocklington. 3.8 miles (6.1 km) to the north-west lies the village of Huggate. South Dalton actually lies some 4.5 miles (7.2 km) to the south-east, with several villages in between. The village itself lies on the B1246 road.

According to the 2011 UK census, North Dalton parish had a population of 302,[1] a reduction on the 2001 UK census figure of 315.[2]

The church dedicated to All Saints was designated in 1966 by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building.[3]
