Nordvågen is a small fishing village in Nordkapp Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located on the eastern coast of the island of Magerøya about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) east of the town of Honningsvåg, along the Porsangerfjorden. The abandoned village of Kjelvik lies about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) northeast of Nordvågen. The 0.22-square-kilometre (54-acre) village has a population (2012) of 422, which gives the village a population density of 1,918 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,970 /sq mi).[1] The village has a fish processing plant.[3]
