Nord-Ubangi District

Nord-Ubangi District is a district located in the Équateur province, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is located in the northwestern part of the country on the Ubangi River. Nord-Ubangi was to be combined with the city of Gbadolite to form one of 25 proposed provinces specified in the country's Constitution of February 2006, taking effect no later than February 2009.[1] As of October 2010, this had not taken place.[2]
Administration
The capital is the city of Gbadolite.[3] It is divided into four territories:
- Bosobolo
- Businga
- Mobayi-Mbongo
- Yakoma
