The Nonionidae is a l family within the order Rotaliida and part of the Nonionacea, shells, or tests, of which are planispiral or trochospiral, calcareous and finely perforate. Includes the Nonioninae, Pulleniinae, Spirotectinae, and Astrononioninae.
