Noel Hartnett

Noel Hartnett (1909–1960) was an Irish politician, barrister, broadcaster and writer. He was a Clann na Poblachta member of Seanad Éireann from 1951 to 1954. He was elected to the 7th Seanad in 1951 by the Labour Panel.[1] He lost his seat at the 1954 Seanad election.[1]

He stood unsuccessfully for Dáil Éireann on two occasions.[2] He stood as a Clann na Poblachta candidate for the Dún Laoghaire and Rathdown constituency at the 1948 general election,[2] and as a National Progressive Democrats candidate in the Dublin South–Central constituency at the June 1958 by-election.[2]
