Niog LRT Station is a proposed station on the Manila LRT (Line 1). The station will be located in the intersection of Aguinaldo Highway and Niog Street in Niog I, Bacoor in Cavite. It is part of the LRT Line 1 South Extension Project (LRT-6), being the final station on the planned extension.
The LRT-1 plan calls for an almost entirely elevated elevated extension of approximately 11.7 km. The extension will have 8 passenger stations, with an option for 2 future stations (Manuyo Uno and Talaba), all intended to be constructed above-ground.[1]
Nearby landmarks
When completed, the station will be close to Conrado Commercial Complex, PLDT Bacoor, Casa de San Miguel Montessori School, St. Matthew Academy of Cavite, Gov. P.F. Espiritu Elementary School and Jollibee Niog. A short jeepney ride would take passengers from this station to SM City Bacoor further along Aguinaldo Highway.
