Ashley Nimalan Soundaranayagam (6 November 1950 7 November 2000) was a Sri Lankan Tamil teacher, politician and Member of Parliament.

Soundaranayagam was born on 6 November 1950.[1] He was a school principal.[2]

Soundaranayagam contested the 1994 parliamentary election as one of the Tamil United Liberation Front's candidates in Batticaloa District but failed to get elected.[3][4] He contested again at the 2000 parliamentary election and this time was elected to Parliament.[5]
