Nikola Gulan (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Гулан; born 23 March 1989) is a Serbian footballer who plays for Serbian SuperLiga club FK Partizan.

Gulan was part of the European selection that won the 2007 UEFA-CAF Meridian Cup in Barcelona. Europe triumphed over Africa, winning 10–1 on aggregate. They won the first leg 6–1 and the second leg 4–0.

Club career

Gulan developed himself in FK Partizan's youth school and played for the senior team despite his very young age. He was transferred to Fiorentina during the summer of 2007.

He was unable to register as a Fiorentina player, as the club had no non-EU registration quota, and Gulan then signed and registered as a player for U.C. Sampdoria in January 2008, as the club has sold Ivan Živanović to abroad and obtained a quota.[1] He was re-signed by Fiorentina in the summer of 2008.

After he had not played in the field for one and a half seasons, he joined TSV 1860 München on loan until the end of 2008–09 season.[2]

In the 2009–10 season, he was loaned to Empoli, where the coach converted him to become a right fullback. He started his first Serie A match for Fiorentina on 17 October 2010, as left fullback.

In winter 2012, Gulan confirmed a six months loan in Chievo Verona. Then he was loaned to Modena until the end of 2012–13 season.

After the loan with Modena expired, Gulan returned to his former club FK Partizan in June 2013. He signed a two-year contract on 28 June 2013. [3]
