Nikola Aksentijević (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Аксентијевић; born 9 March 1993) is a Serbian football defender who plays for SuperLiga club Partizan, on loan from Vitesse.
Club career
Aksentijević started playing football with hometown Radnički Kragujevac, before moving to the youth academy of Partizan in 2006. In October 2010, because of absence of a large number of national players, Aksentijević was one of five juniors who are invited to the first team for the rescheduled cup match against Mladost Apatin.[2] He made his debut as a substitute in that match which Partizan won 6–0, on 6 October 2010.[3] In the 2011 winter transfer window, he was loaned to Teleoptik. Despite he played as a defensive midfielder during the junior years, Teleoptik coach Vuk Rašović moved him to play at the right-back position,[4] making 10 appearances until the end of the 2010–11 season. In the summer of 2011, Aksentijević played with Partizan during the pre-season, and on 6 July 2011 he signed his first professional contract with the club, on a five-year deal.[5] In August 2011, he scored a beautiful long-range goal on his league debut against Sloboda Užice, however Partizan lost the match 2–1.[6]
