Nihonia australis is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cochlespiridae. [1]
Description
The size of an adult shell varies between 70 mm and 95 mm. The olive-brown shell is pyramidally acuminated. The whorls are longitudinally stoutly ribbed, transversely very finely ridged. The aperture is short. [2]
Distribution
This marine species occurs along Japan and Australia.
