Nicole Stoffman (born 16 March 1972 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actress and jazz singer.

Film career

Stoffman is most famous in Canada for her role on Degrassi Junior High as Stephanie Kaye Kobalewsky.

She was nominated for a Gemini Award for her portrayal of Stephanie on Degrassi, which she left after only two seasons (1986–1988). She subsequently appeared in the CTV television series Learning the Ropes in 1988-1989. Her movie credits include The Club (1994), Anchor Zone (1994), and Bram Stoker's Shadowbuilder (1998).

After film - musician, student and political ambitions

After graduating from Jarvis Collegiate Institute in 1993 she attended McGill University and on and off in film studies at York University (1997–2009, BA Hons 2010).[1]

Her studies at York was interrupted by a new career, she had focused on her musical career in Toronto with Nicole Stoffman's Jazz Bohème. In 2011 she worked briefly as interpreter at the Library of Parliament of Canada. After completing her film degree she embarked on political studies at the University of Toronto.[2]
